At Scottish Denture Clinic we are proud to always have our clinical dental technician onsite. Rob Leggett has undertaken additional years of study and training to allow him to work in a patient-facing role, meaning that your denture consultation will be carried right here in our clinic with him. This gives you the opportunity to work closely with the team who will craft your dentures, providing your own input into how you’d like your final smile to look.
Rob will also fit your dentures for you, checking the comfort, function and, of course, the aesthetics. If any adjustments are required, he will ensure these are carried out so that you are entirely happy with your new smile.

Patients at Scottish Denture Clinic love our Digital Dentures because of the accuracy that ensures a supreme fit, and the faster creation process that means they can enjoy their new dentures within a quicker timeframe.
The traditional method of making dentures can sometimes result in errors due to inevitable variables throughout the process. Impression material shrinks by about 2% and the plaster used to create the denture model also contracts. The acrylic used for the denture can decrease by as much as 5%. Even when each phase has been performed to perfection, those variables can create issues, which is why we offer a try-in option with our Premier Dentures.
The fit of Digital Dentures is unrivalled because the accuracy is unsurpassed. Instead of physical impressions, the mouth is scanned using our 3shape Trios scanner, creating a detailed 3D digital model. Then the technician uses a specialist computer program to design your personalised dentures.
The design is then sent to a computerised milling machine on site, where your denture is meticulously carved from a solid block of acrylic material. With this technique, there is no shrinkage or distortion – the denture turns out precisely as designed.
Our Custom Dentures are our most natural-looking denture where we create the best teeth on the market using high impact acrylic.

Custom Dentures allow us to use a wide range of natural-looking, gender-specific tooth shapes and colours. This helps create the smile you have always wanted, or replicate the one you once had. At Scottish Denture Clinic in Edinburgh, we invite patients to bring in photos, if they are able, of their natural teeth. This helps us to understand your smile and, where possible, allows us to match the moulds and colours to recreate your natural smile.

During your initial consultation, we will talk you through your smile goals and ascertain your needs. From this, we will develop a personalised treatment plan that may or may not involve seeing one of our dental specialists.
